Valley Receiver hitches fit many full-size pickups, are corrosion-resistant, have a powder-coat paint finish and are made in the U.S.A.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT HITCH
Selecting the right hitch is dependent on the type of vehicle used for towing and the size and weight of the trailer to be towed. Gross Trailer Weight and Trailer Tongue Weight determines the class of hitch.
Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) Gross Trailer Weight (GTW) is the total weight under fully-loaded trailer conditions, including food, water, gear, etc. Measure the gross trailer load by placing the fully-loaded trailer on a commercial scale. (See chart below to choose the hitch you need.)
Trailer Tongue Weight (TW) Trailer Tongue Weight (TW) is the downward pressure that the tongue of a fully-loaded trailer exerts on the hitch ball. Tongue weight can be measured on a commercial scale, or on a bathroom scale. Be sure the trailer is level and the wheels are chocked.
Vehicle Towing Capacity is the manufacturer's specification of the weight the vehicle is designed to tow. Although some hitches may have a higher stated capacity since they fit other vehicles, never exceed the manufacturer's stated trailer capacity. The specifications are found in the vehicle's owner manual, or can be obtained by writing to the vehicle manufacturer.

Pros: Cons:
Review: Since I'm not very familiar with ordering hitches and do not know much of which one I was supposed to order, this website definitely helped me a great deal. The guide to towing lead me in the direction I needed to buy my hitch. Once I received the hitch, installation was pretty easy and I was on the road the very same day, Will definitely purchase from this company again and the customer service answered all the questions I had.

Pros: Cons:
Review: This is the only non-weight distribution hitch for an Xterra that can handle a 5,000 lbs GTW. Had order from eTrailer, and received a damage hitch. Their customer service sucked, and had to threat to file a dispute with VISA. Then I ordered from BuyAutoTruckAccessories, and what a world of difference. A customer rep called me the same day to advise of a shipping delay, and then assured me the hitch would be wrapped and boxed. Sure enough, it came in a double thick box and was also bubble wrapped. No problems, will be ordering again for the rest of the hitch parts, and already told friends about BuyAutoTruckAccessories.

Review: First of all I placed my order on Sunday and had the product on my porch waiting for me Tuesday, Thank you for the remarkable shipping time!! Install took me about 20 minutes, I really couldn't believe the ease with installation on this hitch, there was no drilling necessary, you don't need to take this to a shope to install. Thank you BuyAutoTruckAccessories for a truely good product.
